Meet The Newest Member of Our Family......

LAZLO the Tortoise. What a day ! We took the boy's hunting for a hairless pet sense they have such bad allergies. They have been really wanting a pet for some time and we have been feeling awful that we had not done anything for them sooner.

Our ideas at first were possibly a frog, snake or turtle. The boys had no problem making up their minds when they saw Lazlo all though they held every pet there - including the snake that my husband was not to fond of.

All in all it turned out to be an enjoyable pet hunt and we ended up with only ONE pet despite the cry and the pleas for more.

TOOT & CMK Blog Challenge

A Cast and CMK Projects

What a crazy week it was and am I ever glad it's over with. First it started out with me spending the night on Wednesday in the ER. My niece feel off her bike (of course because she did not tie her shoestrings because its just not the style to do so and they got caught ) breaking both the bones in her arm. So they send her home with a concussion and a temporary cast till she can see the bone specialist the next day. So we take her in and find out she needs surgery before then can cast because the bone has turned 30 o . It was horrible seeing her in so much pain but the worst is over and now she is just mad because she has to spend the summer in a cast.

O.k. like that wasn't enough - Then Thursday night I get a phone call my Grandma was rushed to the ER and was admitted in to the ICU. At first no one really new what was going on other then she was in such incredible pain and was throwing up. Which caused her blood pressure to rise and her having heart problems not good. We finally got a diagnosis which is her gallbladder in bad shape and will need surgery. I of course was so worried. The women of our generation including myself we don't have a high tolerance for pain but my grandma is one tough cookie.

She is definitely old-school, worked in the coffee fields all her life. To get to a clinic in PR she had to walk like ten miles to get to it. She can still out walk me any day ! They don't make them like her anymore. I Love You Abuela con todo mi corazon !!!!!!

Part of the Highlight of the week at least was I have been having a blast being part of the DT for Create My Keepsake ( www.createmykeepsake.com ) . The manufactuer sponser is Picture It Page Frame and I have been having a ball being creative with what they sent me.

GDT for CMK - Wooohooooo

Holy Toldeo- I am sooooo excited. I recieved an e-mail from CMK ( www.createmykeepsake.com ) asking me to join their DT for the month of June. I could not be any happier working with a group of so talented girls. I am also really excited because I will be working with Page Frames who happens to be the months sponser. So how exciting is this ? Way tooooo exciting and can't wait to get started !!!!

I have been really busy this month. It may sound crazy but I am really suppose to be on bedrest. I am due to deliver our Baby Girl in about 6 weeks and I am suffering from a herniated disk. We have a two story home with a basement and the stairs are unbearable so I pretty much stay up-stairs. Can you guess where? Yup you got it - in my Scraproom. The only really comfortable spot for me is in my soft leather rolling chair. From my computer desk to my cropping table.

So any hoo- Here are just some projects I have accomplished.
