O.k. so what does a Biker, Pirate, Fashion Cop and a Witch have in common ?
Easy they are all mine. Look at what a cute bunch they are !!!! Every year it amazes me at my children's psyche and how they come to the conclusion of what they want to pretend to be. Seth originally wanted to be Ghost Rider and settled with looking more like a Biker since it was impossible to find a Ghost Rider Face. Cade was really happy with his costume but really cracked me up on how sensitive he is to what other people think. He was totally into the hair that came with his costume but than refused to wear it worried about what his friends might say. I didn't push him nor made a big deal about it but I know this is something we will be talking about and working on. I don't remember ever being this conscience of others at this age- it just seems like he is way to young. Mercedes choose to be a Fashion Police - more out of the fact she waited to the last minute and there was not much to choose from by the time she got to the store to pick it out. As CUTE as she looked I worried she looked a Little more on the uuhhh,mmm side but (we wont go there) Damien thought she looked fine. Isabella's costume I could not resist. I originally borrowed a pumpkin costume from a friend but I could not help it when I went to the Children's Place and they had the Witch's costume marked down to $9.99 and I had a 25% off coupon. She was way tooooo Cute in it and I was glad I got it even though she only had it on for a couple of hours.
All in all it was a great Halloween - Damien took the kids out here around the block and than to Church. Isabella and I locked the door and cuddled in bed early after I scrapped a couple of pages. I left a huge bucket of candy out the door on a stool with a sign that said Please Take Two--- Surprise Surprise when I went out to bring it in after it all was done & there was still some candy left in it. Which leads me to say that I believe there are still good ethics being instilled in our kids ! Yeah !!!!!
